Lilli Metabolic Testing Kits
You don’t have to use these, but if you want to test your insulin at home, they’re an option. I made these Lilli Kits available because I knew that if I wanted to educate people about high insulin levels, they needed a way to actually test them. Most doctors won’t do it because they don’t understand it or don’t know how to interpret the results.
If you have a provider who will test your insulin—hooray! You don’t need these unless you just prefer the convenience. But for those who keep getting told, “Your blood sugar is normal, so you’re fine,” this provides another option.
These kits aren’t covered by insurance, but they are FSA and HSA eligible. You can also have your insulin tested through Quest Diagnostics or a local lab. But if you want the option to test your fasting insulin, triglyceride/HDL ratio, A1c, inflammation, and more from home, now you can.
